| The Executive Committee is responsible to the Membership for the management of the daily affairs of the Association. A PR sub-committee has responsibility for maintaining the profile and promoting the expertise of the Association to Government Ministries, industry colleagues, the trade press and our customers. The All Members Committee meets quarterly to consider current issues and the direction of the association. The Technical Committee meets four times a year. There are also four Technical Working Groups, with membership drawn from member companies, each with their own Chairman. The groups cover, Occupational Allergy, Modern Biotechnology, Food Ingredients and Additives and Labelling and Claims. The groups meet as and when required and report back to the Technical Committee with recommendations. The abim Secretariat is based in the offices of the Food and Drink Federation (FDF) – www.fdf.org.uk in London. |
