The Modern Biotechnology sub-committee
was established with the aim of giving careful consideration
to the implications for the bakery ingredients sector of scientific
advances in this area.
The sub-committee is currently awaiting the publication of
the proposed European legislation on Enzymes and will advise
members of the salient issues contained within it.
Previously, the sub-committee has taken an active interest
in the development of the British Retail Consortium / Food
and Drink Federation Identity Preserved Technical Standard.
